UCEED 2026 BDes Round II seat allotment announced on May 19, 2026, for seven IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates must log into the BDes portal, pay seat acceptance fee (₹60,000 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL; ₹15,000 for SC/ST/PwD).

The Institute-wise opening and closing category ranks for UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 have been announced on May 19, 2026. Candidates must log into the BDes portal immediately to check their allotment status. The official portal is available at iitb.ac.in for seat acceptance and fee payment.
Seat allotment has been released for seven participating institutes: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Understanding Freeze and Float Options
Candidates allotted seats in their first choice institute can only accept or decline the offer. If declined, they cannot participate in further rounds. Candidates allotted seats in their second to fifth choice institutes can select either Freeze or Float option.
The Freeze option means candidates accept the offer and do not wish to participate in subsequent rounds. The Float option allows candidates to accept the current offer while remaining eligible for higher preference institutes in future rounds.
UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 Seat Acceptance Fee Payment Process
Candidates must pay the complete seat acceptance fee through the official payment portal at iitb.ac.in. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL category candidates must pay ₹60,000, while SC, ST, and PwD category candidates must pay ₹15,000.
Payment must be completed by May 27, 2026, 6:00 PM. Failure to pay the fee will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. Candidates are advised to pay well before the deadline to avoid last-minute transaction issues.

UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Letter Download
- After successful payment of the seat acceptance fee, candidates can download their provisional seat allotment letter from their login account.
- The letter contains essential information about the allotted institute, program, and admission requirements.
- Candidates must verify all details on the provisional letter carefully.
- Any discrepancies should be reported to the official email uceed@iitb.ac.in immediately for resolution.
Candidates must exercise extreme caution and avoid fraudsters contacting them regarding admissions or payment. All official information is available only on the UCEED website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). Candidates should follow instructions provided only on the official portal.
Email confirmations with payment details will be sent to all allotted candidates. Candidates must check their registered email address for payment instructions and portal access details.

UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Candidates who paid the seat acceptance fee in Rounds I and II can withdraw until June 09, 2026, 6:00 PM, for claiming refunds. The refund amount is ₹55,000 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and ₹10,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates, after deducting ₹5,000 as seat cancellation and processing charges.
Withdrawals can only be made during prescribed withdrawal schedules. Candidates cannot withdraw after the announcement of the final round of seat allocation.
What’s Next for Students
Round III seat allotment is scheduled for June 10, 2026, for filling vacant seats. Candidates who selected the Float option and did not get higher preference institutes will automatically be considered for Round III.
Candidates who accepted seats in Round II with the Freeze option will not be considered in subsequent rounds. The joint seat allocation process will continue through Round V on July 03, 2026, to fill all available seats.
