TS POLYCET Counselling 2023 Registration Open, Round 1 Seat Allotment Result on June 25; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Department of Technical Education, Telangana has initiated the counselling process for TS POLYCET 2023 from June 14, 2023. All qualified candidates can participate in this counselling procedure by submitting their registrations at tspolycet.nic.in.

TS POLYCET is an examination conducted for admission to Telangana State's polytechnic courses in engineering and non-engineering fields. The TS POLYCET 2023 web-based counselling includes certificate verification and option exercising and seat allotment process. 

The TS POLYCET Counselling 2023 process will consist of fee payment, document verification, and choice filling. The Round 1 seat allotment will be announced on June 25, 2023. Qualified candidates must attend the document verification process at designated HelpLine Centers. The counselling fee is INR 600 for OC/BC candidates and INR 300 for SC/ST candidates.

After the registration process on the official website, the counselling process for TS POLYCET 2023 will follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Document Verification:

• Candidates must visit designated Help Line Centers (HLCs) to verify their documents as per the schedule provided. 
• Attendance at the certificate verification process is mandatory. 
• During this process, candidates' Aadhaar card details (Fingerprint Biometric) will be verified with UIDAI at the HelpLine Centers. 
• After verification, candidates will receive a receipt of their certificates.

Step 2: Exercising Options:

• After the certificate verification process, candidates need to fill in their choices of courses and colleges. 
• The official website will provide a list of polytechnics along with the courses they offer and corresponding course codes. 
• Based on these codes, candidates should prioritise and prepare a preference list of polytechnics and courses on the options form.
• Once the candidates fill in the options on the web, they will have to take a printout copy of the filled choices for future purposes.

Step 3: Seat Allotment:

• Seats are allocated to candidates based on their filled options, merit rank, and category. 
• The allotment results are published online on the official website.
• Candidates need to download their allotment order for the admission process. 
• By logging into their candidate account using the ROC Form Number, Hall Ticket Number, Password, and Date of Birth, they can access and download the allotment order.

Step 4: Payment of Fees & Reporting at Polytechnic:

• Candidates have to visit any one of the designated banks with a downloaded allotment order for fee payment. 
• After that candidates have to report at the allotted polytechnic with allotment order & fee receipts on or before the specified dates.
• If candidates fail to report at the allotted college for admission in a given time period, the seat will be allotted to the next candidates. 
• In this case, the admission will be cancelled & candidates will not claim further seat allotment.

Candidates will have to carry the following documents while appearing for document verification. 

• TSPOLYCET 2023 Rank Card
• Aadhar Card
• S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo
• Class IV to X Study Certificates
• Transfer Certificate (T.C)
• Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2023 by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Residence Certificate or
• Employer Certificate
