TS PGECET 2026 registration has started from February 27, 2026 in online mode for candidates seeking admission into M.E., M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.Arch., and Pharm.D (PB) courses in Telangana.

The entrance test will be conducted from May 28 to May 31, 2026 at centres in Hyderabad and Warangal. Conducted as a Computer Based Test, the exam allows eligible graduates to compete for postgraduate seats in state universities and affiliated colleges.

TS PGECET 2026 Schedule

The examination will be conducted in two sessions daily:

The registration fee for TS PGECET 2026 is ₹1100 per test for General/OBC candidates and ₹600 per test for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Those applying for more than one paper must pay the fee separately for each test. Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or TG Online payment gateway.

The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The paper will be of 2 hours duration and will include 120 multiple-choice questions, with one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking.

General category candidates must secure at least 25% marks (30 marks) to qualify, while no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates. Final ranks will be prepared based on the final answer key.

The exam will be held at two regional centres in Telangana- Hyderabad and Warangal- and the question paper will be available in English only.

Before applying, candidates must ensure that they submit the application only through online mode, as hard copies will not be accepted. They should carefully select the correct test paper based on eligibility and meet the AICTE eligibility criteria (50% marks for General and 45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree.

Candidates must download the Hall Ticket from the official website, as entry to the exam centre will not be allowed without it. Appearing for the exam does not guarantee admission; candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions during counselling.

After the result is declared, the counselling process will begin for seat allotment. The counselling stages will include online registration, certificate verification, web options entry, and seat allotment as per the schedule announced by the authorities.
