TGCHE has released the TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 counselling schedule. Registration begins on July 2, 2026. Document verification runs from July 20 to 24, 2026. Candidates can apply at pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in.
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 counselling schedule. The complete counselling timeline is now available on the official portal at pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in.
Registration for Phase 1 will begin on July 2, 2026, and candidates can submit their applications along with the processing fee until July 9, 2026. The final document verification at allotted colleges will be conducted from July 20 to July 24, 2026.
The counselling process is being held for admission to ME, MTech, MPharm, MArch, and Pharm.D (Post-Baccalaureate) programmes. Engineering seats are open to both TS PGECET and GATE qualified candidates, while pharmacy seats are available only for TS PGECET qualifiers.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Candidates must be Indian citizens with local or non-local status in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. Applicants should possess either a valid TS PGECET 2026 rank card or a valid GATE score. GATE scores are accepted only for engineering streams.
Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, while reserved category candidates require a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to register provisionally.
What Is the Counselling Fee?
The counselling processing fee is Rs 1,200 for General category candidates and Rs 600 for reserved category candidates. The fee must be paid online during registration using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
How to Register for TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling?
Follow these steps to complete the registration process:
- Visit pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in.
- Click on the Phase 1 candidate registration link.
- Enter your TS PGECET 2026 hall ticket number and rank details.
- Pay the processing fee online.
- Upload the required certificates.
- Submit the application and save the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
How to Exercise Web Options and Get a Seat?
The web options window will remain open from July 13 to July 15, 2026 for eligible candidates. Applicants must select their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. A one-time edit facility will be available on July 16, 2026.
Seat allotment will be prepared based on the candidate's rank, category, and web option preferences. The provisional seat allotment result will be announced on July 19, 2026. Selected candidates must report to the allotted college for document verification.
Documents Required for Verification
Candidates should carry all original documents along with two sets of photocopies. Failure to produce the required documents may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

- GATE scorecard (for GATE applicants)
- Qualifying degree marksheets and provisional certificate
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Transfer certificate and study certificates from Class 9 to graduation
- Income, caste, and EWS certificates (if applicable)
- Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
This is the single common admission route for postgraduate engineering, pharmacy, and architecture seats in Telangana. Both TS PGECET and GATE qualifiers compete in the same merit list for engineering seats.
