TS EDCET 2026 hall ticket released on May 9, 2026 on edcet.tgche.ac.in. Candidates can download admit cards using registration number, qualifying exam hall ticket number, and date of birth.

Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TCHE) released the TS EDCET 2026 hall ticket on May 9, 2026. Registered candidates can now download their admit cards from edcet.tgche.ac.in. The hall ticket is mandatory for appearing in the B.Ed entrance examination scheduled for May 12, 2026. Candidates must download and print their admit cards well before the exam date to avoid last-minute issues.
How to Download TS EDCET 2026 Hall Ticket?
Visit edcet.tgche.ac.in and click on the "Download Hall Ticket" link on the homepage. Enter your registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number, and date of birth in the specified fields. Click submit to retrieve your admit card in PDF format. Download and print the hall ticket for the examination. The admit card contains essential details including candidate name, registration number, exam date, exam time, exam centre location, and reporting time. Verify all information carefully before the exam.

Exam Date, Time, and Pattern
TS EDCET 2026 examination is scheduled for May 12, 2026 (Tuesday) in two sessions. First session runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon and second session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The exam duration is 2 hours conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. Total marks: 150. The exam includes five segments: Mathematics, Science and Social Studies (60 marks), General English (20 marks), General Knowledge (20 marks), Educational Issues (30 marks), and Methodology (20 marks).
Eligibility and BEd Admission
TS EDCET 2026 is conducted for bachelor's degree holders seeking admission to 2-year B.Ed regular courses in Telangana colleges of education. Candidates must have passed bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC candidates). Minimum age requirement is 19 years as of July 1, 2026. No maximum age limit is specified. Candidates must be Indian citizens. The exam is open to candidates from Telangana and other states.

Documents to Carry
Candidates must carry their printed TS EDCET 2026 hall ticket to the exam centre. A valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, or voter ID is mandatory. Carry a black ball-point pen for marking answers. Do not carry electronic devices, calculators, or reference materials into the exam hall. Arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
Result and Counselling
TS EDCET 2026 results will be announced within 3-4 weeks after the exam. Rank cards will be available on the official website for download. Online counselling will commence after result announcement with registration, fee payment, document verification, and seat allotment phases. Counselling fee is Rs 800 for general candidates. Seat allotment will be done based on merit rank, category, preferences, and seat availability in BEd colleges across Telangana.
