Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TCHE) released the TS ECET 2026 admit card on May 9, 2026. Registered candidates can now download their hall tickets from ecet.tgche.ac.in. The admit card is mandatory for appearing in the examination scheduled for May 15, 2026. Candidates must download and print their admit cards well before the exam date.

How to Download TS ECET 2026 Admit Card?

Visit ecet.tgche.ac.in and click on the "Download Hall Ticket" link. Enter your registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number, and date of birth. Click submit to retrieve your admit card in PDF format. Download and print the hall ticket for the examination. If you don't know your registration number, use the "Know Your Registration Number" section by entering your payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth.

Important Admit Card Details

The TS ECET 2026 admit card contains candidate name, registration number, exam date, exam time, exam centre location, and reporting time. Verify all information carefully before the exam. If any discrepancy is found, contact the official helpline immediately. The admit card also displays examination instructions and guidelines to be followed during the test.

Exam Date, Time, and Pattern

TS ECET 2026 examination is scheduled for May 15, 2026 (Friday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The exam duration is 3 hours conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 200 marks. For diploma candidates, subjects include Mathematics (50 marks), Physics (50 marks), Chemistry (50 marks), and Engineering Mechanics (50 marks). For B.Sc. (Mathematics) candidates, subjects include Mathematics (100 marks), Physics (50 marks), and Chemistry (50 marks). Each correct answer carries 1 mark with no negative marking.

Eligibility and Lateral Entry

TS ECET 2026 is conducted for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates seeking lateral entry admission to 2nd year B.Tech and B.Pharm courses. Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination from recognized institutions. The exam is open to candidates from Telangana and other states. Lateral entry admission provides an opportunity to pursue engineering degrees after completing a diploma or graduation.

Documents to Carry

Candidates must carry their printed TS ECET 2026 admit card to the exam centre. A valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, or voter ID is mandatory. Do not carry electronic devices, calculators, or reference materials into the exam hall. Arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.

Result and Counselling

TS ECET 2026 results will be announced after the exam on May 15, 2026. Rank cards will be available on the official website for download. Online counselling will commence after result announcement with registration, choice filling, and seat allotment phases. Seat allotment will be done based on merit rank, category, preferences, and seat availability in engineering colleges across Telangana.
