Who Should Apply in the Special Drive Phase?

This phase targets candidates who missed a seat in earlier rounds. Students who were allotted seats but did not report can also apply. Fresh candidates who missed the earlier registration windows may register too.

TSCHE has advised students to exercise as many web options as possible. A larger option list improves the chance of getting a preferred seat.

Registration Fee and Payment Modes

Candidates must pay a Rs 400 fee for the Special Drive Phase. Payment is completed at the PIN generation step during application. Online payment options are available on the official portal.

How to Register for TS DOST 2026 Special Drive Phase?

The official portal outlines a three-step admission process. Candidates should follow the steps in order.

  • Complete pre-registration and generate a DOST-ID via the website, app, or MeeSeva.
  • Pay the application fee and generate the PIN number.
  • Log in with the PIN to access the application form.

Students from TGBIE can generate the DOST-ID through the DOST mobile app. Other candidates must use the website or a MeeSeva centre.

How to Submit Web Options for Choice Entry?

Students should list preferred colleges and courses in priority order. The system considers options in the sequence entered by the candidate.

Special category candidates under PH, CAP, NCC, Sports or ECA quotas need certificate verification. Verification takes place at University Help Line Centres.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

Allotted candidates must complete online self-reporting within the reporting window. They must then report at the allotted college on the scheduled dates. Missing the self-reporting deadline may cancel the allotted seat.

Every candidate must submit an Anti-Drug Affidavit at the college. Both the student and a parent or guardian must sign the affidavit. The format can be downloaded from the portal's news section.

A Final Chance This Admission Cycle

This is the final undergraduate admission round for the current TS DOST cycle. Candidates admitted through spot admission are not eligible for scholarships.
