Tezpur University Opens Admission for Session 2026–27; TUEE 2026 to be Held in June

Tezpur University has officially released the admission notification for the academic session 2026–27. The university is inviting online applications for various UG, PG, and doctoral programmes through multiple national-level entrance exams, including TUEE 2026.

As per the official announcement, the application process commenced on March 17, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through the official admission portal till April 30, 2026. The Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2026 is scheduled to be held in the first week of June 2026.

Admissions will be conducted through different entry channels such as TUEE, CUET-UG/PG, JEE Main, GATE, CEED, UCEED, and NET, depending on the programme.

Tezpur University TUEE 2026 Important Dates

For B.Tech. Admissions, candidates will be selected through JEE Main 2026 via JoSAA counselling and the North East (NE) quota, while lateral entry to BTech programmes will be done through TUEE 2026. Admission to the MSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology will be based on GAT-B 2026 scores.

Candidates seeking admission to MA, MSc, MCA, LLM, and other PG programmes can apply through CUET-PG 2026 or TUEE, depending on the course. PhD admissions will be conducted through TUEE or national-level eligibility tests such as UGC NET, CSIR NET/JRF, SLET, and GATE.
