KNRUHS Telangana has announced the dates for Online Registration for PG Medical Courses under MQ. The registration window will be open from November 10, 2024, 8 AM onwards
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released a notification for the admission of NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates to postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses under the management quota for the 2024-25 academic year. The admissions will cover seats in private non-minority and minority medical colleges in Telangana.
Online applications are now being invited from eligible candidates, including Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and NRIs, who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 and meet other eligibility criteria. The registration period for online applications is from 10th November 2024 (8:00 AM) to 17th November 2024 (6:00 PM).
Key Dates for Online Registration and Counselling
- Online Registration and Certificate Upload: 10th to 17th November 2024
- Registration and Verification Fee: Rs. 6300 (non-refundable)
Candidates who completed their MBBS from institutions outside Telangana must pay an additional equivalency verification fee—Rs. 5,000 for degrees from other states and Rs. 7,000 for degrees from other countries.
Eligibility and Application Process
Candidates must have secured the required NEET PG 2024 cutoff scores:
- General Category (UR/EWS): 50th percentile
- SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST): 40th percentile
- Persons with Disability (OC): 45th percentile
Eligible candidates must also have completed their MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India and finished their internship by 31st August 2024. Those who obtained their MBBS degree from institutions outside India are required to submit a permanent registration certificate.
Required Documents for Upload
Candidates are required to upload the following documents:
- Passport-sized photo
- NEET PG 2024 admit card and score card
- Original/provisional MBBS degree certificate
- Aadhaar card
- Study certificates for MBBS (1st to final year)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Muslim minority certificate (if applicable)
- Internship completion certificate
- Valid Medical Council registration certificate
- Permanent Medical Council registration certificate (if issued before June 2019, renewal is mandatory)
Candidates applying under the NRI quota (MQ2) must provide additional documentation, including sponsorship and NRI status certificates from a blood relative, as well as their NRI bank account passbook and passport copies.
Important Points for Applicants
- Registration and verification fees are non-refundable.
- The management quota prospectus, instructions for the application process, and other details are available on the KNRUHS website
- The final merit list will be based on NEET PG 2024 scores and will be published after the verification of all uploaded certificates.
- Candidates who secure a merit position will be eligible for the web-based counselling process, with dates for web options to be announced separately on the KNRUHS website.
