New Delhi: TAPMI Manipal and Southampton Business School, University of Southampton (SBS-UoS) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to allow TAPMI Bengaluru students the opportunity to pursue a one-year MSc at the University of Southampton and earn the MSc degree from SBS-UoS.
Students may enrol in the one-year MSc programmes offered by SBS-UoS if they meet the qualifying requirements at the conclusion of the third year. These one-year MSc studies are offered in management-related fields like marketing, finance, operations, information technology, analytics, and decision-making, among others. Students are free to join any group in which they are interested.
The Southampton-based students enrolled in the BBA Honours programme will receive their degrees from TAPMI after their credits and exam results from the MSc programme are accepted. Thus, the students will simultaneously receive their BBA Honours from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and their MSc from the University of Southampton.
Additionally, SBS-UoS will waive 10% of the international student enrollment fee for all TAPMI students who enrol in the programme. Students who successfully finish the one-year MSc programme are qualified for a two-year work visa in the UK, which, with an employer's sponsorship, can be upgraded to permanent residence.
The four-year BBA Honours degree at TAPMI, which is designed to give students excellent job possibilities, is modelled after other four-year undergraduate management degrees abroad.
