TAPMI Manipal Opens Applications for MBA Admission 2026

The T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, has announced the commencement of its admission process for the MBA batch 2026–28. Interested candidates can apply online at tapmi.edu.in/admissions until December 29, 2025.

According to the official schedule, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be held between February and March 2026 at centres located in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Manipal.

The shortlisted candidates will be notified via email, and the final selection list is expected to be released by April 10, 2026 (tentative). The new academic session for the first-year MBA term is likely to begin in June/July 2026.

The application fee ranges from ₹2,000 for a single program to ₹5,750 for seven programs. Candidates must hold a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they secure the required marks upon graduation.

TAPMI accepts CAT 2025, XAT 2026, GMAT (January 1, 2021 – January 31, 2026), and NMAT 2025 scores for shortlisting. The selection process involves two stages: shortlisting based on entrance test scores and profile, followed by GD, Written Ability Test (WAT), and PI.

The final selection will consider multiple parameters: entrance test scores (35%), academic performance (15%), GD/WAT/PI (45%), and gender diversity and extracurricular achievements (5%).

TAPMI also offers a Fast-Track Admit option for exceptional candidates demonstrating academic excellence, leadership potential, and holistic achievement. Selected applicants under this category may receive offer letters within 48–72 hours of their interview.
