Understanding Your Scorecard

Your TANCET scorecard contains your rank, percentile score, and marks obtained. Rank indicates your position among all candidates who appeared for the exam. Percentile shows what percentage of candidates scored below you. Marks show your total score out of 200. Keep your scorecard safe as it's required during counselling.

Counselling Process

After result declaration, DTE Chennai will announce the counselling schedule. You must register online for counselling using your TANCET rank. Document verification will be conducted at designated centers. Choice filling allows you to select colleges and programs in order of preference. Seat allotment is done based on merit, choice, and availability. Reporting to allocated college completes the admission process.

Counselling Registration Steps

Register online on the DTE counselling portal. Upload required documents (mark sheets, certificates, ID proof). Pay counselling fee online. Verify your details and submit. Download your counselling hall ticket. Attend document verification on scheduled date.
