SVSU PhD Revised Admission Schedule 2026 Released, Apply Dec 12 at svsu.ac.in; Check Details here

The Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) has released a revised schedule for the submission of the PhD application form by December 12, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the university (svsu.ac.in).

The entrance examination will be held on December 23, 2025, and the tentative merit list for the interview will be published on December 29, 2026. Supervisor selection, RAC meetings, and documentation will be done on January 9, 2026.

Candidates are required to make the payment of INR 1000 (Rs. 500/- for Female and SC/ ST and EWS Category) via the online payment gateway for the application form through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking. The application without an application fee will not be entertained for further processing. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

The minimum eligibility requirement for the PhD program is a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks. The programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum duration of six years from the date of admission to the PhD programme

Research scholars at SVSU working on projects as JRF and SRF shall get financial assistance from the fund of the projects. However, the Full-time PhD scholars who are not receiving any financial assistance may be considered for financial support under the University Research Scholarship (URS) scheme, as per the provisions of the University’s PhD. Ordinance, upon becoming eligible for the same. The amount of this scholarship shall be INR 15,000 per month.
