SRM University PhD Admission 2026 Application Deadline Open Till April 30; Get Direct Link to Apply

SRM University has recently announced the admission schedule for the Doctoral Degree Programs for the academic year 2026. Online applications are being accepted through the official website, srmist.edu.in, by April 30, 2026.

SRM University offers various PhD programs in pharmaceutical and biomedical disciplines. These include Engineering & technology, Basic Sciences & Humanities, Management, and Medical & Health Sciences.

SRM University PhD Admission Dates 2026

As per the official website, shortlisted candidates will get a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 for a maximum period of 3 years. Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/GATE/GPAT will be paid INR 37,000 per month for a maximum period of 3 years.

SRM University PhD Eligibility Criteria

For admission to SRM University, a candidate should hold masters degree with an aggregate of 55% marks in any field in which the PhD programme is being offered. Candidates who have passed the M.Phil programme with atleast 55% marks are also eligible to apply.

5% marks relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently- abled.

Steps to Apply For PhD at SRM University

The eligible candidates can apply online through the official website or by using the link provided above:

1. Candidates have to register and pay online using the link.
2. All instructions and details must be filled out in the application form are mandatory.
3. Applicants have to submit required scanned copies of the documents, includes Passport sized photograph and signature.
4. After the successful submission of the application form, an application number will be provided to the candidate.
5. Save that number for future reference and communications.
