Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) is inviting applications for PhD programs for the April 2025 session. The PhD results will be announced on February 25, 2025.

SRIHER PhD Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

PG Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on the UGC 7-point scale.
4-year Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate. Such candidates will be admitted to the PhD program in Full-time mode only.
1-year Master's Degree after 4-year Bachelor's Degree or 2-year Master's Degree 3-year Bachelor's Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD (more than 40% disability) candidates.

Candidates holding a recognised/approved PG Degrees offered under UGC (ODL Regulations, 2020) registered with Distance Education Bureau are eligible to apply for the PhD program offered at SRIHER (DU). Proof of recognition/approval should be provided by the candidate.

Candidates who have qualified in any of the criteria are exempted from appearing for the Entrance Examination and will be called directly for counselling

UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST/NETJRF/AICTE/GATE/AYUSH/INSPIRE/NFST Fellowship/NFSC Fellowship/ICMR Nurturing Clinical Scientists (NCS) Scheme/SJSGC/NFDIS/NFOBC
Other UGC-recognised national eligibility tests with a valid fellowship at the time of the entrance exam
Working in funded research projects as JRF/SRF in the University.
