SRCC GBO First Merit List and Waitlist 2026 Released for Batch 2026 to 2028

SRCC GBO is a two-year, full-time programme offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce, a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The total seat intake for the programme is 94, with reservations for OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and Foreign National categories.

What the First List Means for Candidates

Candidates named in the waitlist are those who were not selected in the first round but remain in consideration. Waitlisted candidates are offered seats as and when provisionally selected candidates from higher lists cancel or do not confirm their admission. Based on patterns from previous batches (Batch 2025-2027 saw nine merit lists, and Batch 2024-2026 saw five), multiple subsequent lists are typically released until all seats are filled.

How the Admission Process Works

Admission to PGDGBO is entirely merit-based and follows a multi-stage process:

• Stage 1: SRCC GBO Entrance Examination (Computer-Based Test, 160 MCQs, 120 minutes)
• Stage 2: Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) for shortlisted candidates
• Stage 3: Final merit list preparation based on entrance score and GDPI performance
• Stage 4: Sequential release of merit and waitlists until all seats are filled

For the 2026-2028 batch, the entrance examination was conducted on February 28, 2026, and results were declared on April 10, 2026. GDPI rounds were held from May 5 to 9, 2026.

Eligibility Reminder for Admission Confirmation

To confirm a seat from the first merit list, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree (any discipline from a recognised university)
• A relaxation of 5% in aggregate is applicable for OBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates (i.e., minimum 45%)
• Candidates appearing for their final qualifying examination are also eligible, subject to submission of proof within the stipulated period

3. If selected, read the admission notice carefully for the fee payment deadline and required documents.
4. Submit required documents and pay the programme fee as instructed. Cancellations on or before session start attract a deduction of only Rs 1,000 as processing charges.
