Special OJEE 2026 Admit Card Out at ojee.nic.in; Exam Begins July 13

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has released the Special OJEE 2026 admit cards on its official portal, ojee.nic.in. The hall tickets went live on July 10, 2026. Candidates can also download them through the direct candidate login portal using their application number and password.

The Special OJEE 2026, also known as the 2nd OJEE, will be conducted from July 13 to July 15, 2026. The examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts. The ranks obtained through this examination will be used to fill vacant seats remaining after the first round of OJEE counselling.

The 2nd OJEE 2026 covers a wide range of programmes. It will fill vacant seats in engineering, management, pharmacy, nursing and postgraduate courses.

How to Download the Special OJEE 2026 Hall Ticket?

Registered candidates can download the Special OJEE 2026 hall ticket by following these steps:

• Visit the official OJEE website at ojee.nic.in.
• Click on the link for the 2nd OJEE or Special OJEE 2026 admit card.
• Enter the application number and password on the login page.
• Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card.
• Download the hall ticket and take a clear printout for the examination day.

Who Can Skip the Special OJEE 2026?

Not every OJEE aspirant needs to appear for the Special OJEE examination.

Candidates who already hold a valid JEE Main 2026 rank do not need to appear for the Special OJEE for first-year B.Tech admissions. Candidates who already have an OJEE 2026 rank in other streams can also skip the examination.

Domicile rules apply to candidates from outside Odisha. Outside-state candidates cannot claim seats in Odisha government colleges. However, they can apply for available seats in private colleges through this admission route.

What Is the Syllabus for the Special OJEE 2026?

The OJEE Committee has kept the syllabus unchanged from the earlier examinations.

The B.Tech paper will follow the JEE Main 2026 syllabus. Papers for all other courses will follow the OJEE 2026 syllabus prescribed for the May 2026 examination.

What to Expect in the Special OJEE 2026 Paper?

The Special OJEE 2026 exam pattern will be similar to the main OJEE examination. The paper will contain objective-type questions and will be evaluated electronically.

• Each programme will have a different set of subjects and marks.
• The B.Tech paper will include questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• The MBA paper will test reasoning ability, verbal ability and general awareness.
• The MCA paper will include questions from Mathematics and computer-related topics.

What Should Candidates Carry to the Exam Centre?

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without the required documents. They should carry the following items:

Special OJEE 2026 Exam Day Timings

The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts each day. Candidates must check the exact reporting time, shift timing and examination centre address printed on their hall ticket.

Late entry will not be allowed once the examination shift has started.

Rough sheets and log tables will be provided at the examination centre. Candidates must leave all prohibited personal belongings outside the examination hall. They should reach the venue well before the reporting time.

What Happens After the Special OJEE 2026?

After the examination, the OJEE Committee will release the Special OJEE 2026 ranks on the official portal. These ranks will be considered during the second phase of OJEE counselling.

Vacant seats in engineering, management, pharmacy and other participating programmes will be filled through this counselling process.

Candidates must complete choice filling and choice locking within the prescribed deadline to remain eligible for seat allotment. The detailed counselling schedule is expected to be released after the declaration of the Special OJEE 2026 result.
