SNU Noida invites applications for PhD admissions 2026 across various disciplines; apply before the respective deadlines.

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Noida has started the PhD admission process for the 2026 academic session. The last date to apply varies between October 30 and November 30, 2025, depending on the chosen specialization.

SNU Noida PhD 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicants with UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, or JRF qualifications may receive exemption from the university’s written test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview round based on eligibility and specialization.

Research Grant: Each full-time scholar receives a grant of ₹1,50,000 for presenting papers at Scopus-indexed conferences during the program duration.

The hostel accommodation for PhD students at SNU Noida is offered at a subsidized rate of ₹1,24,000 per year for a single room with sustainable air conditioning and a common toilet. The rack rate for the same room type is ₹1,84,000, with a university subsidy of ₹60,000 provided to doctoral students.

As per the university’s policy, room allocation is subject to availability and may be conducted through a lottery system or first-come-first-served basis. Additionally, the hostel charges are subject to an annual increase of up to 8%, as notified by the university each academic year.
