Silicon University (Silicon Institute of Technology (SIT)) will invite applications for admission to various UG and PG programs for the 2025-26 session starting from March 20, 2025.

SIT Admission 2025-26: Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Admission

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Indian Board with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with Computer Science / IT / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biology as an optional subject.
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in Physics, Mathematics, and the optional subject (40% for SC/ST candidates).

For B.Tech (L.E) Admission

• Applicants must have passed a Diploma (3 years or 2 years for Lateral Entry) in any branch of Engineering/Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

  OR

• A B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) and Mathematics as a subject in 10+2.

For M.Tech Admission

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.

For MCA Admission

• Candidates must have completed BCA, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or an equivalent degree.

  OR

• A B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.

Given the limited number of seats available compared to the high volume of applicants for various programs, seat allocation is conducted strictly on the basis of merit. The merit list is compiled based on the candidate's performance in entrance exams or their academic career marks, depending on the specific program they are applying for.
