According to the official website, the SHUATS offers admission across various departments, including Agriculture, Forestry, Engineering & Technology, Bio Technology & Engineering, Dairy Technology, Nursing, Sports, Education, Business Studies, Health & Allied Sciences, Theology, and Science.

Admission to the SHAUTS across programs is based on the institute’s own entrance exam, such as SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) and SHUATS Online Entrance Test for Nursing (SOETN).

SHUATS Eligibility Criteria

Admission to undergraduate programs at SHAUTS requires a candidate to pass 10+2(5% relaxation for SC, ST, PwD candidates) from a recognised board or equivalent institution. Candidates appearing in the final examination at the graduate level may also apply.

For all Postgraduate programs at SHAUTS, candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 57% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC, ST, PwD candidates) from a recognised Indian University. Final year candidates can also apply.

SHUATS Selection Criteria

The selection at SHUATS is mainly based on entrance examinations and counselling. For most UG and PG programmes, admission is based on the performance in the SOET 2026, followed by programme selection, document verification, and fee payment. Nursing programmes require candidates to qualify for the SOETN 2026, with admissions offered through merit-based offline counselling. For programmes covered under Open Online Counselling, selection is based on eligibility criteria, seat availability, and successful document verification, without an entrance examination.
