SDA Bocconi Asia Centre in Mumbai has announced its Summer Internship Report for the IMB Class of 2026, showcasing impressive placement and stipend figures. The highest stipend offered touched INR 3.2 lakh per month, while the average stipend stood at INR 46,719. The top 25% of the batch received an average of INR 97,288, and the top 50% secured an average of INR 71,907 per month.

Bocconi (SDA), which translates to the Bocconi School of Management. It is the graduate business school of Bocconi University, Milan, one of Europe’s leading universities for management, economics, and finance.

The Summer Internship Statistics Class 2026 report highlights active participation from leading recruiters across BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, and IT/ITES sectors. Prominent names include ICICI Bank, KPMG, Deloitte, McKinsey & Co., L’Oréal, Dell Technologies, and Morgan Stanley, among others.

The batch profile of the Class of 2024–26 reflects a balanced and diverse mix: 52% female and 48% male, with an average age of 23 years. Students came from varied academic backgrounds—27% from Management, 25% from Commerce, 25% from Engineering, 8% from each of Arts and Science, and 7% from other disciplines.

Many students brought prior professional experience from reputed organizations such as Amazon, Accenture, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Reliance, Hindustan Unilever, and Infosys.

In terms of functional roles, Marketing emerged as the most sought-after domain with 30% placements, followed by Sales/Account Management (21%), Strategy/Consulting/Research (18%), HR (9%), and Finance (8%).

The results reaffirm SDA Bocconi Asia Centre’s growing reputation as a preferred B-school destination for management aspirants in India.
