The Rajasthan High Court approved the medical intern’s opposition to the MO Recruitment notification released by RUHS. The University will now allow the interns to take the Recruitment exam.
As a result of the HC decision, the varsity will grant the application forms in offline mode as well. The decision has provided relief to the MBBS interns who were willing to appear for the MO Recruitment Exam, conducted by RUHS Jaipur.

The Court decision came to light after the MBBS interns challenged the RUHS notice. The notice was uploaded on October 15. The MO recruitment notice released by the university mentioned that applicants must have a Permanent Registration Certificate (PMC).
Moreover, the certificate must be provided by Rajasthan Medical Council prior to October 29.
As the PMC is offered after the completion of the internship for a minimum of 1 year, the Council provided the MBBS interns with a provisional certificate. According to this eligibility criterion, various Medical interns opposed this.
Since various aspirants were issued with only a provisional certificate, candidates filed a petition against the RUHS decision. Shritema Bagri filed the petition and led the counsel against the same.

Bagri stated that the Rajasthan Medical and health rules 1963 do not specify any mandatory permanent registration certificate. She added that the varsity has forced a supplementary condition.
This implied that current interns who are yet to be provided with the final PMC are not termed as qualified. Analysing the petition, HC instructed the varsity to consider the MBBS interns for the recruitment exam.
