RIE CEE 2026 Registration Begins May 15

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has opened registration for RIE CEE 2026. This is the entrance examination for admission to teacher education programmes at Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) across India. Registration starts on May 15, 2026 and closes on June 5, 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted on June 28, 2026. This is your opportunity to pursue quality teacher education from premier NCERT institutes.

How to Register?

Visit cee.ncert.gov.in and click on the registration link. Fill in your basic details including name, date of birth, and contact information. Upload your photograph and signature as per specifications. Enter your qualifying examination marks (10+2 or bachelor's degree). Select your preferred RIE and course. Pay the examination fee online. Submit your application. Download and save your confirmation receipt.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Ed programmes, you need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). For Integrated M.Sc.Ed (6-year), you need 10+2 with Science and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). For M.Ed, you need a B.Ed degree with 50% marks. Candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2024, 2025, or are appearing in 2026 are eligible. Programmes Offered

RIEs offer various teacher education programmes. Integrated M.Sc.Ed is a 6-year programme for Class 12 pass students. B.Ed is a 2-year programme for graduates. B.A.B.Ed and B.Sc.B.Ed are integrated 4-year programmes. M.Ed is a 2-year postgraduate programme. Each programme has limited seats and admission is based on merit and CEE score.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The CEE exam is conducted in three groups based on the programme you're applying for. Group A is for Integrated M.Sc.Ed, Group B is for B.Ed and other 2-year programmes, and Group C is for M.Ed. Admit Card and Exam Day

Admit cards will be available for download from June 20 to June 28, 2026. Download your admit card from the official portal using your login credentials. Print it and keep it safe.
