Rajasthan PTET 2026 applicants now have more time, as the registration deadline for the 2-year B.Ed programme has been extended to May 22, 2026. The correction window will remain open till May 24 with an amendment fee of INR 200.

The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota has extended the application deadline for Rajasthan PTET 2026. The last date to submit online applications is now May 22, 2026 (extended from the original date). The amendment/correction window has also been extended to May 24, 2026, with a token fee of INR 200. This extension provides additional time for aspiring teachers to apply for admission to 2-year B.Ed programmes across various teacher education institutions in Rajasthan. The PTET 2026 exam is scheduled for June 14, 2026. This is your opportunity to pursue a teaching career in Rajasthan.
PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) is the entrance examination for admission to 2-year B.Ed programmes in Rajasthan.

To apply, candidates need to visit ptetvmoukota2026.in and click on the “Apply Online” or “New Registration” link. Applicants must fill in personal details such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, contact information, and educational qualifications including 10th, 12th, and graduation marks.

They will also need to upload their photograph, signature, and thumb impression as per the prescribed specifications, select their preferred exam center, review the form carefully, pay the application fee online, and download the confirmation receipt after submission. The application fee is INR 600 for all categories, while candidates making corrections will need to pay an amendment fee of INR 200 through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
For eligibility, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks, while SC/ST candidates require 45% marks. The minimum age is 18 years, and there is no upper age limit. Indian citizens are eligible to apply, while OCI/PIO candidates may also qualify as per official guidelines.
If corrections are required after submission, candidates can log in using their registration number and password, access the correction panel, pay the INR 200 amendment fee, and make changes. However, details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, photograph, signature, and thumb impression cannot be edited after submission.
The PTET 2026 exam will be conducted on June 14, 2026, with a duration of 2.5 hours. The exam will include 200 MCQs carrying a total of 600 marks, covering Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics/Science/Social Studies, and General Knowledge, with 100 marks allotted to each section.
A negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for every incorrect answer. After the exam, the answer key will be released on the official portal, followed by the result within 2–3 weeks, merit list publication, counselling for seat allotment, and final admission after document verification. Candidates should remember that the extended application deadline is May 22, 2026, while the correction window closes on May 24, 2026.
