PUCET UG 2026 Dates Postponed; Revised Schedule Announced

Panjab University has announced the postponement of the PU-CET (Undergraduate) Entrance Test 2026. Originally scheduled for late December 2025, the university has now shifted the examination to May 10, 2026 (Sunday) due to administrative reasons. This update affects all candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) and B. Pharmacy programs.

Candidates applying to PUCET 2026 must complete their registration by April 22, 2026. The university has clarified that the application fee must be submitted by April 24, 2026, while the final date to upload photographs, signatures, and other required information is April 27, 2026. For those who miss the completion deadline but have paid the fee, a brief window will be available on May 06, 2026, to finalize the form with a late fee of Rs. 500. Admit cards will be available for download from the official website starting May 05, 2026. The university expects to declare the results by May 28, 2026.

The PUCET registration fee is set at Rs. 2850 for the General category and Rs. 1425 for SC/ST/PwD candidates, with an additional fee of Rs. 570 applicable for those opting for both Biology and Mathematics.

It is crucial to note that once the online form is confirmed, no additions, deletions, or alterations will be permitted under any circumstances. Furthermore, candidates claiming fee concessions, such as those in the SC/ST/PwD categories or Panjab University employees, are required to submit a hard copy of their completed form and supporting documents to the CET Cell at Panjab University by April 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

The entrance test itself will be held across multiple centers, specifically in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur.
