Panjab University PU CET UG 2026 Counselling Registration Begins at cetug.puchd.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has opened the Panjab University Combined Entrance Test Undergraduate (PU CET UG) 2026 counselling registration on the official portal at cetug.puchd.ac.in. Qualified candidates can fill the online admission form from June 9, 2026. The last date to submit the online form is June 25, 2026 (Thursday).

The tentative merit list will be displayed on the evening of July 4, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to B.Pharm and B.Sc (Hons.) programmes at Panjab University must complete the registration within the stipulated window.

Programmes Offered Under PU CET UG 2026

Admission through PU CET UG 2026 covers B.Pharm and B.Sc (Hons.) courses. The B.Sc (Hons.) is a four-year programme under the NEP-2020 framework. It follows the Honours School System at Panjab University.

The B.Sc (Hons.) is offered across the following specialisations:

Who Must Submit Hard Copies of the Application?

While most applicants can complete the process online, certain categories must submit physical hard copies by June 29, 2026. The hard copy deadline is fixed at 4:00 PM on that date.

The following candidates must send hard copies of their forms:

• Reserved category candidates including BC, FF, KDP, RV/TV, Defence, OGC, YF, PwD, Cancer/AIDS/Thalassemia, RAS, and BAS
• Sports category applicants
• Foreign nationals and NRI candidates

How to Register for PU CET UG 2026 Counselling?

Candidates can complete the online registration in three steps. The process is hosted on the official PU CET UG portal.

1. Read the official Admission Brochure available on cetug.puchd.ac.in in full.
2. Log in using the credentials generated during the entrance test registration.
3. Fill each section carefully and lock it. The sections include Categories, Class 12 subjects, Weightages, and Documents.

Once a section is locked, the entered information cannot be edited. Once the form is submitted, no change in any field, including the category marked, will be permitted.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Visit the official portal at cetug.puchd.ac.in and download the Admission Brochure.
2. Log in with the credentials used for the PU CET UG 2026 entrance test.
3. Keep your Class 12 marksheet, category certificate, and entrance test scorecard ready.
4. Fill the Categories, Class 12 subjects, Weightages, and Documents sections one by one.
5. Lock each section only after a final review of the entries.
6. Submit the online form on or before June 25, 2026.
7. Reserved, sports, NRI, and foreign category candidates must courier the hard copy by June 29, 2026 (4:00 PM).
