Presidency University Invites PhD Applications for Even Session 2025–26; Apply till Dec 29

Presidency University Kolkata has started the application process for PhD Admission 2025–26 (Even Session) for eligible candidates. The university is inviting online applications from UGC or UGC–CSIR NET qualified candidates for doctoral programmes offered across various departments and institutes.

The registration window opened on December 15, 2025, and interested applicants can apply online till December 29, 2025 (12 noon). The admission process includes application submission, fee payment, and a departmental interview or test.

Presidency University PhD Admission 2025 Date

Candidates applying for the PhD programme in Presidency University must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. A 5% relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and PwD candidates as per UGC norms. Applicants must also be UGC or UGC–CSIR NET qualified with a valid certificate.

Eligible candidates need to submit the online application form through the university’s admission portal. After form submission, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500 through the SBI Collect portal. The system-generated application form, along with required documents and research synopsis, must be sent to the university in hard copy.
