Patliputra University, Patna has released applications for the PhD Admission Test (PAT) 2025. Interested candidates are asked to submit their applications without a late fee by February 25, 2025, or with a late fee of INR 500 by February 28, 2025.

PPUP PAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to apply for Patliputra University PhD program.
- Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program must have a Master's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade of 'B' on the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a different grading system) in the relevant or related topic.
- Candidates from the SC/ST/EBC/OBC/Differently-abled categories shall receive a 5% mark relaxation (i.e., from 55% to 50%) or an equal grade relaxation.
- Candidates will be permitted to do Ph.D. research in the field for which they earned a Master's degree or in an allied subject from a recognized university.
If an applicant fails to meet any admission conditions, such as failing to submit required documents or failing to pay the money by the deadline, they will forfeit their entitlement to admission.
