Pondicherry University Application Deadline for Foreign Students Extended By July 31; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Pondicherry University has announced that the deadline for submission of application forms by foreign students for various courses is now extended until July 31, 2023. 

The Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University shared this information via a tweet, stating that the online application process for admission of foreign students to different programs for the academic year 2023-24 has been extended to July 31, 2023. 

This news comes as an invitation to eligible Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and overseas candidates who are interested in pursuing Post-Graduate, Integrated Post-Graduate, and Ph.D. programs at Pondicherry University.

NRI and Overseas candidates can apply for the Pondicherry University Courses by an application fee of INR 9000, while for SAARC Countries, the candidates must pay an application fee of INR 4500 to seek PU Admission 2023 to the PG programs based on the CUET PG exam scores followed by the counseling process. 

Pondicherry University Distance Education Programs Admission 2023 

According to the official statement from the university, applications are also being accepted for PU Distance Education programs through the official website - dde.pondiuni.edu.in. Prospective students interested in the distance education programs can apply until August 31, 2023.

The university several MA courses in various specializations such as MA English, MA Sociology, MA Hindi, and an M. Com (Finance) course at the PG level via the distance mode. The annual fee for these programs is INR 7425. 

Similarly, applications for UG distance education programs such as BCom, BA, BBA, etc are also open. The annual fee for the same is INR 4975.

The DDE PU Admission 2023 to all the courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and first come first serve basis. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal @dde.pondiuni.edu.in.

Candidates seeking admission to the Pondicherry University programmes can go through the steps mentioned below to apply online. 

Step 1: Go to the official website of Pondicherry University @pondiuni.edu.in. 

Step 2: Search the "Registration" section on the homepage and click on it to begin your registration.

Step 3: Use your login credentials to access the system and proceed to fill in the application form.

Step 4: Fill in all the required details in the application form and attach the necessary documents.

Step 5: Complete the application fee and review the application form before submitting it.

Step 6: Finally, hit the 'Submit' button to finalize the application process. Make sure to keep a printed copy of the form for future reference.
