OSGU PhD Program Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to apply for Om Sterling Global University PhD program
- A applicant must have at least 55% of the possible points in a Master's degree or an equivalent degree in order to be admitted to the Ph.D. program, per UGC regulations. A 5% mark relaxation is available to SC, ST, and OBC students.
- Additionally, candidates must pass the entrance exam with at least 50%.
- For all programs, international applicants must have studied the required subjects and scored at least 55% on the qualifying exam in order to be admitted to the designated degree.

OSGU PhD Program Admission Procedure
The admission procedure for OSG University is mentioned below:
- The candidate must submit an application on a specific form by the deadline specified by Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) in order to be considered for admission to Ph.D. programs at OSGU.
- Candidates will not be allowed to take the admission exam if they have received a valid score on a national test, such as the NET, SLET, GATE, or UGC-CSIR (JRF) examination.
- The following standards will be used to make the choice:
- Based on how well they do in the interview, candidates with legitimate national exam results will be chosen.
- The Entrance Test, which has the following weightage of various components for admission: Entrance test marks: 70% and interview: 30%, is required of candidates who lack valid scores on national tests like GATE.
- The Controller of Examination (COE) / appropriate School or Department will administer the test on a different day that will be published.
- The DRC will construct the final merit list of candidates and present it to the Vice Chancellor for approval. Admissions will be made based on merit from this list.
Applicants who have already passed the GATE, SLET, UGC, or CSIR exams will be given precedence for admission and will not be allowed to take the entrance exam. These candidates' inter-se merit will be assessed based on their performance on the UGC, CSIR, SLET, and GATE exams.
