NTA has issued important guidelines for CUET (PG) 2025, scheduled from 13 March to 01 April 2025, including admit card instructions, verification process, allowed items, and prohibited items. Candidates must follow the official advisory.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official advisory for candidates appearing in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Postgraduate courses. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from 13 March 2025 to 01 April 2025 across multiple shifts. Candidates must carefully follow the guidelines issued by NTA to ensure a smooth examination process.
Admit Card and Exam Schedule
- Candidates must download their CUET PG 2025 admit card from the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/.
- The exam date, shift, reporting time, and test center details are mentioned on the Admit Card.
- Candidates should visit the examination center in advance to avoid last-minute confusion.
- Late entry will not be permitted after the gate-closing time mentioned in the Admit Card.
AADHAAR and Biometric Verification
- Candidates must carry the original AADHAAR Card for verification.
- Thumbprint biometric verification will be conducted. In case of a mismatch, iris scanning will be performed.
- If a candidate does not have an AADHAAR Card, they will be required to undergo an alternative verification process and fill out an Exception Form.
Items Allowed Inside the Exam Hall
Candidates are allowed to carry:
- Transparent water bottle
- Simple transparent ballpoint pen
- Admit Card with Self-Declaration (Undertaking)
- Additional passport-size photograph for the Attendance Sheet
- Original valid ID proof (PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar, E-Aadhaar, Ration Card, or Aadhaar Enrolment Number with Photo)
Special Guidelines for PwD Candidates
- Candidates claiming PwD benefits must carry a PwD certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Those availing the scribe facility will receive extra 20 minutes per hour of examination time.
- PwD candidates should report early to facilitate the verification process.
Prohibited Items
- Electronic devices, mobile phones, or smartwatches
- Study material, books, or notes
- Any personal belongings (there is no provision for safekeeping)
During the Examination
- Candidates will receive blank paper sheets for rough work, which must be submitted before leaving.
- Verify that the question paper displayed on the computer screen matches the subject/medium chosen in the application form.
- If any discrepancy is found, immediately inform the invigilator.
Post-Examination Instructions
- Candidates should keep a copy of the Admit Card for future reference.
