North Bengal University CDOE Admissions 2025 Open: Apply by March 31

North Bengal University (NBU) Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) has announced admissions for various courses under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the January 2025 academic session. Applications are invited for M.A. in English, Bengali, Nepali, History, Philosophy, Political Science, & Mathematics, and B.Com.

NBU BA & BCom Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for admission:

BCom:

• Passed the H.S. Examination (10+2) or Old 11-class H.S. in Commerce, Science, or Vocational stream.
• Conducted by WBCHSE/ISC/CBSE or any other recognized Board/University.
• Must have passed at least four subjects, with English as a compulsory subject. (excluding Environmental Studies/Environmental Science/Environmental Education).

MA:

• B.A. (Hons.) degree in the respective subject.
• B.A. (Pass/General Course) under the 10+2+3 pattern or Old 11+3 pattern.
• 2-year B.A. degree with a 1-year Bridge Course from a recognized university.

The courses for P.G. are to be opted from DSC (Discipline Specific Course) or DSE (Discipline Specific Elective) and GE (Generic Elective) as studied at U.G. level.
