NMIMS Mumbai is inviting applications for admission to Full-Time/Part-Time PhD programs in Science (Biological Sciences / Chemistry), Engineering and Technology Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Statistics for the Academic Session 2025-26. Aspirants can apply through the official portal @nmims.edu till March 30, 2025. Further, the call letters will be issued to the applicants on April 1, 2025, after 5 PM, and the Written Test and Personal Interviews are scheduled for April 5, 2025.

NMIMS University PhD Online Registration and Selection Process
- Online registration available at @nmims.edu
- Online Registration Fee of INR 2,500/- plus GST if applicable
- Selection Process: Entrance Test & personal interview
- Entrance Test: (100 marks, 90 minutes), will be conducted at the Mumbai campus only.
- Section A: 50% Research methodology
- Section B: 50% Area / Domain Specific
- The candidate must have qualified written test with qualifying marks of 50% conducted by the SVKM
- NMIMS is Deemed to be a University. Only entrance test-qualified candidates will be called for Personal Interview.
NMIMS University PhD Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for Pharmaceutical Sciences and Statics must have qualified (with a valid period & valid score) in NET / SET / GATE/ GPAT / JRF examination or technical professional education such as UGC, CSIR, ICMR, or other equivalent examinations mentioned on the scorecard, such candidates are exempted from NMIMS entrance test.

Candidates applying for EMT must have a Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech./(MBA with B.E./B.Tech./M.Phil/M.Sc. for Applied Physics or Applied Mathematics) or a professional degree equivalent to a Master’s, with at least 55% marks. Equivalent degrees from accredited foreign institutions are also accepted.

Candidates applying for PhD in Science shall have a Master's degree M.Sc. in any branch of Biological Sciences (Minimum 2 yrs Program) including Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Science, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Applied Biology, Bioinformatics, Biodiversity, Environmental Science
