New Delhi: NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME) has successfully hosted the third edition of its India Automation Games 2023. The two-day event was held to celebrate innovation and technology from September 8 to 9, 2023.
As per NMIMS MPSTME, Mr Sudarsan Srinivasan, the Managing Director of Vega India joined the India Automation Games 2023 as Chief Guest and Mr Vaibhav Narkar, Regional Head at Vega India, and Mr Niranjan Bhise, President of ISA Maharashtra were the Guests of Honor.
The key highlights of the event include a premier automation and robotics competition, which was topped by Mr. Harsh Pandit from MPSTME. Mr Harsh won the prestigious gold medal and a cash prize of INR 10,000. Mr Siddhant Bangera of MPSTME and Mr Venkatesh TMR from MIT, Chennai received silver medals as well as a cash price of INR 5000 for their performance
The event was attended by students from 22 prestigious institutions of India, such as Manipal Institute of Technology, JSS Academy of Technical Education (Noida), MKSS Cumins College of Engineering for Women (Pune), Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (Pune), Madras Institute of Technology, PVPIT (Sangli) and RAIT (Navi Mumbai).

Students also joined from Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (Mumbai), Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology and Polytechnic (Mumbai), Kumaraguru College of Technology (Coimbatore), Nirma Institute of Technology (Ahmedabad), Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (Nanded), and BMS College of Engineering (Bangalore).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Alka Mahajan said, "We express our appreciation towards all the participants at the 'Indian Automation Games'. The success of the event is a testimony to the resolve of MPSTME towards encouraging young innovative minds to apply their learning in solving real-life problems in the field of emerging technology”.
“Such platforms not only promote healthy competition but also encourage students to push the boundaries of their knowledge and skill beyond the classroom, which is critical in today's technological landscape”, he further added.
