NMAT 2025 Additional Phase Exam Dates Out @mba.com; Registration Begins January 5

GMAC has announced the NMAT 2026 additional phase schedule. Eligible candidates can register from January 5 to 10, 2026, and appear for the exam between January 13 and 17, 2026.

NMAT 2025 Additional Phase Exam Dates Out

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced the schedule for the NMAT 2025 additional phase exam. The additional phase of NMAT will be conducted from January 13 to January 17, 2026. Candidates who have not used all three attempts in NMAT 2025 are eligible to apply for this phase. The registration window for the NMAT additional phase will remain open from January 5 to January 10, 2026.

The NMAT score is accepted by leading management institutes such as NMIMS Mumbai, XIMB, KJ Somaiya, TAPMI, and SDA Bocconi Asia Centre.

NMAT 2026 eligibility criteria are defined by the GMAC and apply uniformly to all candidates. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. In addition, candidates must satisfy institute-specific eligibility criteria for final admission.

The NMAT registration process includes creating an account, filling out the application form, choosing up to five B-schools, selecting the exam date, and paying the exam fee.

The exam has 108 questions divided into three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. The total exam duration is 120 minutes. The result is usually declared within 48 hours of the exam attempt. The NMAT cutoff for top B-schools generally ranges between 150 and 200 marks, depending on the institute and the programme.

NMAT 2025 Application Fees

The NMAT application fee includes charges for registration, retaking the exam, and rescheduling. Candidates need to pay ₹3,000 as the registration fee to appear for the exam. If a candidate opts for a retake, an additional ₹3,000 is applicable for each retake attempt. In case a candidate wants to reschedule the exam date, a rescheduling fee of ₹1,200 will be charged. All payments must be made online during the NMAT application or exam scheduling process.
