NLU Tripura Extends Ph.D. Applications Date 2025; Apply Before January 18

National Law University Tripura (NLUT) has extended the last date for Ph.D. applications for the academic year 2024-2025. Aspiring candidates can go to the official site of the university @nlutripura.ac.in for further details. The application fee is INR 3,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with a 5-year LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.) degree through regular mode, securing at least 75% aggregate marks (70% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates).
• Candidates with a 3-year LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.) degree, following a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 75% marks (70% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates), plus two years of work experience and four UGC-listed research papers.
• Candidates with an LL.M. degree through regular mode, securing at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates).
• Candidates who passed the Solicitors Examination conducted by the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and hold an LL.B./LL.B. (Hons.) degree through regular mode.

The candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program in NLUT shall fill out the online form available on the university website and pay the following fees:

• INR 3,000/- (For General Candidates)
• INR 2,500/- (For PRTC, SC/ST candidates)
• INR 5,000/- (For Foreign national candidates)
