NLU Placements in India 2023: Check Average Salary, Previous Year's Placement Trends

New Delhi: The National Law University (NLU) has a reputable placement department and offers its students competitive pay packages when they are placed on campus. As per NLU, placements are held in the months of April & May every year. Employers visit law college campuses and shortlist candidates on the basis of their academic records and legal skills. The entire campus placement procedure is overseen by the "Recruitment Office" or "Recruitment Committee" at the NLUs. NLU Placement 2023: Placement Process

Stage 1: Pre- Placement Talks:

Candidates who are interested in taking admission in one of the NLUs of their choice must participate in the program in order to know about the profile of the recruiting company, career prospects, salary packages, etc.

Stage 2: Pre-Interview Screening Process:

The steps involved in the Pre-Interview Screening Process are:

• Step 1: Candidates take part in the pre-interview group discussion.
• Step 2: Recruiters look for the correct candidates as per their policy.
• Step 3: Selected candidates are then supposed to forward their resume to the recruiters.

Stage 3: Placement Offers:

• Step 1: All the selected candidates are called for the interview process.
• Step 2: Candidates who qualify the interview round are provided with the placement offers.
• Step 3: It is up to the candidates to accept or reject the placement offer made by the recruiter.
• Step 4: If a candidate accepts the offer, HR from the chosen company will contact the candidate for all the joining and onboarding formalities.

NLU Placement 2023: Placement Categories

NLU Placements fall into two main categories mentioned below:

• Zero-Day NLU Placements: The crucial zero-day internship occurs in the fourth year of the LLB degree. This is due to the fact that no positions are open at any of the large corporations or other businesses. Since the students have not completed the college, this is frequently referred to as a pre-placement offer (PPO).
• Prior Year NLU Placements: Students who haven't been assigned to a zero-day internship or who aren't taking part for any other reason are still allowed to engage in the placement from the prior year.
