NIT Warangal PhD Admission 2024 Open for July Session; Apply till April 3

New Delhi: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal is inviting applications for admission to its PhD programs in full-time (FT) and part-time (PT) modes for the academic session beginning in July 2024. The last date to apply is April 03, 2024.

As per NIT Warangal, the admission window is open for PhD programs offered by the Department of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and others.

Candidates can apply for NIT Warangal PhD Admissions 2024 by submitting their applications on the official website. The list of shortlisted candidates for written test and interview will be published on April 16 and the Written Test/Interview will be held from April 29 to May 2, 2024.

Check the detailed eligibility criteria and selection process for admission to the NIT Warangal PhD program mentioned below: 

For Engineering Departments:

• Minimum of 60% aggregate marks in required discipline or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG (minimum of 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST/ PwD category).
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with valid GATE score (not mandatory for part-time) and at least CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks (at least CGPA of 7.5/10 or 70% under SC/ ST/ PwD category).

For Other Departments:

• Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA at both UG and PG for SC/ ST/ PwD category).
• CAT/ UGC-NET/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/CSIR NET (Not mandatory for Part-time candidates).

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on a Written test / Interview.
