NIT Trichy Techno Managerial Fest Pragyan’24 to be Organised from February 22; Check Details Here

New Delhi: National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) is all set to organise the annual techno-managerial fest, Pragyan '24, from February 22 to February 25, 2024. NIT Trichy has announced a national technical competition focusing on healthcare, the environment, and defence technology to be a part of the fest this year.

The four-day technical fest will include a variety of events and workshops aimed at broadening the reach of technology across various sectors, NIT Trichy said. The fest will highlight a 32-hour long hackathon which will be founded on handling blockchain, natural manageability, and savvy city challenges. The winners will be awarded total prizes worth INR 11 Lakhs. 

During the festival, NIT Trichy will also commemorate the historic Chandrayaan-3 moon landing by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Apart from Ingenium, the national technical competition, the fest will also hold Sangam's hardware hackathon in collaboration with SCIEnT, addressing similar themes.

Sangam, the hardware hackathon, will culminate in an intense competition focused on the same thematic areas, challenging participants to find solutions to real-world problems.

According to the official press release, “Event clusters like MANIGMA, BYTEHOC, ROBOSPIRE, PANDORA'S BOX, PHRONESIS, PIXALETTE, and INNOVIX offer competitions in management, coding, robotics, puzzles, user UI/UX, and engineering, ensuring diverse engagement opportunities,”.

The institute has also planned a guest lecture featuring Nobel laureate Richard Roberts and thought-provoking workshops led by industry professionals.

“Pragyan '24 is set to offer an engaging experience for all attendees, highlighting the pinnacle of intellectual and creative achievement in technology,” the institute said in a statement. It will also feature performances by Kashi Fire Crew, LED acts, and established music artists.
