The National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar) has released the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) fee structure for the 2026 entry batch. The details are available on the official website at nits.ac.in. The structure covers tuition, examination, caution money and institutional charges.
General and OBC category students must pay a tuition fee of INR 62,500 per semester. This works out to INR 1,25,000 for each academic year. SC, ST and PwD candidates receive a full tuition fee waiver.
NIT Silchar is an Institute of National Importance located in Assam. It admits BTech students through JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main scores.
