NIT Silchar Begins MBA Admission 2026; Apply till March 31 @nits.ac.in

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar has started the application process for its two-year full-time MBA programme for the 2026–28 batch. The admission is being conducted by the Department of Management Studies (DoMS). Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the institute’s official portal. The selection process will include GD/WAT and Personal Interview, based on valid CAT 2025, MAT, or CMAT scores. The last date to apply is March 31, 2026.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates are given a relaxation to 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

Applicants must also have a valid CAT 2025, MAT, or CMAT score with a minimum of 50 percentile. Students appearing in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply, provided they submit their final result and required certificates by September 15, 2026.

Admission to the MBA programme will be based on a composite evaluation process. The selection criteria include 10% weightage for Class 10 performance, 10% for Class 12 performance, 50% weightage for CAT/MAT/CMAT percentile, and the remaining 30% for performance in GD/WAT and Personal Interview.

Candidates must download and fill the MBA application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee online. The completed form must also be sent to the official DoMS admission email ID before the deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
