The National Institute of Silchar has released applications for its Masters in Business Administration Program for the academic year 2025. Candidates interested can fill out the application form online before March 31, 2025, by paying the application fee of INR 2000 for the general category.

NIT Silchar MBA Program Admission Dates
The admission process for the NIT Silchar MBA program 2025 will take place as per the below-mentioned schedule

NIT Silchar MBA Program Fee Structure
The fee structure for the MBA program at NIT Silchar is given in the table below:

NIT Silchar MBA Program Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible for the NIT Silchar MBA Program
- The candidate must have a regular bachelor's degree with at least 60% of the possible points, or a cumulative CPI/CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, or its equivalent. Candidates who fall within the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories may be eligible for a 5% mark relaxation or a 0.5 CPI/CGPA.
- In order to be eligible to apply with a valid scorecard, a candidate must have taken the CAT in 2023 or 2024 or the MAT/CMAT between September 2024 and March 2025 with a 50 percentile.
- Students may also apply if they are taking their final exam of the semester. They must, however, provide an undertaking in accordance with Annexure V. If chosen, these applicants will be admitted provisionally, provided they meet the prerequisites for a qualifying degree with the minimal grade point average or CPI/CGPA listed above (Point A).
NIT Silchar MBA Program Selection Process
The selection process of the National Insitute of Technology Silchar is provided below:
- Step 1: Performance of the Student in the 10th Class (10% Weighatge)
- Step 2: Performance of the Student in the 12th Class (10% Weighatge)
- Step 3: Performance of the Student in the Entrance Examination (CAT/MAT/CMAT) (50% Weighatge)
- Step 4: Performance in Personal Interview/GD/WAT (30% Weighatge)
