The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, has announced the list of provisionally selected candidates for admission to PhD programs for the Even Semester of the Academic Year 2024-25. Provisionally selected candidates are requested to report to Respective Departments / Centres of NIT Durgapur on January 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

NIT Durgapur PhD Admission Process

Pre-Reporting Procedure

Fill out the shared Google Form with the following details:
- One stamp-size color photograph (JPEG).
- Signature of the candidate (JPEG).
- Upload all relevant documents for admission.
Make the admission fee payment online.
Complete the Enrollment Form and Anti-Drug Declaration Form.
Submit the Anti-Ragging Affidavit online and provide the signed copy during physical reporting.

Physical Reporting on Admission Day

Report to the respective department for document verification.
Submit all documents in the prescribed order.
Candidates will be called one-by-one for the admission process.
Post academic admission, guidelines for hostel accommodation will be provided.

NIT Durgapur PhD Admission: Documents Required

Enrollment and application forms.
Proof of date of birth and government-issued photo ID.
Certificates for 10th, 12th, undergraduate, and postgraduate qualifications (as applicable).
NET/GATE scorecard (if required for specific categories).
EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST certificates (if applicable).
No-Objection Certificate (for employed candidates).
