NIT Calicut and University of Central Florida Join Forces for Academic Excellence

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) and the Board of Trustees of the University of Central Florida (UCF) have joined hands to strengthen partnerships in the fields of education, scientific research, and outreach.

As a part of this collaboration, NIT Calicut and the University of Central Florida will commit to promoting the exchange of resources and expertise and creating an environment suitable for cutting-edge research and development where new ideas are encouraged.
Informing about this initiative, Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT Calicut shared that this collaboration meets the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji's, vision of a global biofuel partnership, a national solar mission, and a national green hydrogen mission.

Professor Prasad Krishna further expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasising its potential for providing significant research opportunities for students as well as faculty. He highlighted that UCF has significant resources and various research immersion programs, including joint PhD programs for students.
