NIPER Mohali PhD Admission 2026 Application Open Till February 20; Get Direct Link to Apply

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER Mohali) has recently announced to open the applications for the Direct Doctoral Degree Programs for the academic year 2026. Online applications are being accepted through the official website, niper.gov.in, by February 20, 2026.

NIPER Mohali offers various PhD programs in pharmaceutical and biomedical disciplines. These include Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacoinformatics.

NIPER Mohali PhD Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali, a candidate should hold masters degree with an aggregate of 60% marks in any branch of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or any field in whicha  PhD programme is being offered.

Students who are in the final year can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Candidates who have qualified CSIR/UGC (JRF), DBT (JRF), ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE or equivalent programmes are eligible for fellowship. However, GPAT/GATE and similar entrance exams are not considered valid fellowship schemes for this admission. Further, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (online or offline) at NIPER Mohali, and finla list of selected candidates will be published on the institute website.
