The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 is a computer-based entrance examination for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme at NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai. A total of 257 seats are available across both institutes, with NISER offering 200 seats and UM-DAE CEBS offering 57 seats. The exam will be conducted across approximately 387 cities nationwide.

Candidates must have passed class XII in 2024, 2025, or be appearing in 2026 with at least 60% aggregate marks. SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates require 55% aggregate marks. All candidates must secure a rank in the NEST 2026 merit list for admission consideration.
How to Download NEST 2026 Admit Card?
- Visit the official NEST website at nestexam.in and click on the "LOGIN" button.
- Enter your application number (or registered email ID) and password in the login portal.
- Click on "Download Admit Card" to access and save your hall ticket.
Verify all details on your admit card carefully, including name, date of birth, application number, and exam center. Check the exam date, time, and venue mentioned on the hall ticket. Ensure your photograph and signature are clearly visible on the admit card.
NEST 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Requirements
Bring your original admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Driving License) to the exam center. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam start time. Carry a blue or black ballpoint pen for the computer-based test.
NEST 2026 is a computer-based test conducted in English and Hindi (bilingual). The exam duration is three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Questions will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology based on CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks of classes XI-XII.
