Ans: NEST 2024 tie breaking policy are as follows: In case two applicants secure identical marks in the examination, the candidates with greater score in the general section will get a better rank.
If the tie condition still persists, then the scores achieved in the other sections will also be compared. The candidate with higher score in any of the subject section would get a better rank.
If the tie still continues to persist, then the respective candidates would be given same provisional rank at the time of declaration of the result and the tie will be broken by equating marks obtained in class 12th and date of birth in that order, during the time of admission/ NEST Counselling.
