NEET MDS Postponed to April 19, Registration Starts on February 18, 2025

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-MDS 2025 on 19th April 2025. You will be able to apply online from 18th February 2025 to 10th March 2025 at the NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam-neetmds. NBEMS published the information in a newspaper advertisement. 

The NBE is expected to release the NEET MDS information bulletin 2025 soon on its official websites - natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. The information bulletin will provide detailed guidelines on eligibility, exam patterns, syllabus, and other important instructions for candidates.

Confusion among aspirants started when NBEMS published the exam calendar 2025 on November 27, 2024, mentioning January 31, 2025, as the exam date for NEET MDS. However, the registration process did not commence, leaving students anxious about the exam timeline. This announcement brings clarity and provides the exam dates to the students.

NEET MDS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The NEET MDS 2025 eligibility criteria will be announced by the NBE along with the information bulletin. Based on last year's criteria, the eligibility details are as follows:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a university or institute recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or a State Dental Council (SDC) with either a permanent or provisional registration.
• Candidates must have completed a 12-month compulsory rotatory internship by the date specified by the NBE.

Last year, the cutoff date for completing the internship was initially set as March 31, 2024, but it was later extended to June 30, 2024. This year, the internship completion cutoff is also expected to be June 30, 2025.
