NEET MDS 2026 Registration to Begin Soon

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced a tentative schedule for NEET MDS 2026 dated January 22, 2026. The exam will be conducted on a computer-based platform at various test centers across the country.

As per the NBEMS official schedule, the NEET MDS 2026 exam date is scheduled for May 2, 2026, and the cutoff date for internship completion is May 31, 2026.

NEET MDS Eligibility Criteria

Based on previous year trends, to appear for NEET MDS 2026, a candidate needs to satisfy the eligibility criteria stated below as stipulated by the exam conducting authority.

  1. Nationality: Applicants must be either an Indian citizen. An Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) is also eligible to apply for NEET MDS 2026.
  1. Academic Qualifications: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery or a provisional passing certificate in BDS from any Indian dental university/college recognized by the Government of India as per the Dentist Act 1948, or else they must possess an equivalent qualification recognized bythe  Dental Council of India (DCI).
  2. Internship/Experience: All candidates should have completed or been in the process of completion of the one-year rotary internship or practical training on or before March 31, 2026. The internship/training done in the respective dental college is approved or recognized by the Government of India.
