NEET MDS 2024 Exam Date Postponed to March 18

New Delhi: The National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBEMS) has rescheduled the NEET MDS 2024 to March 18, 2024. According to the updated notice, the cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the NEET-MDS 2024 is March 31, 2024. The official notification is available on the natboard.edu.in website for candidates to access.

Initially, the NBEMS has scheduled the NEET MDS on February 9. However, in the latest notification, the exam will now be held on March 18, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 is conducted to facilitate admission to 6,228 MDS seats in 259 dental colleges across India. The exam syllabus for students includes 17 Bachelor of Dental Surgery program topics.

An official notice reads, "Pursuant to the receipt of DCI Letter No. DCI/Admission/Admsn/MDS/ Gen/999/2024-25/2024/6933 dated 08.01.2024 and MoHFW letter No. V.12025/158/2023-DE(Pt) dated 19.01.2024, the conduct of the NEET-MDS 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 9th February 2024, stands rescheduled. The NEET-MDS 2024 shall now be conducted on 18th March 2024."

The NEET MDS 2024 entrance exam will comprise two sections, Parts A and B, containing 100 and 140 questions, respectively. For each correct answer, the candidate will get four marks, while for each wrong answer, there will be a deduction of one mark.
